Conserve It Chief Software Architect, Richard McElhinney will be presenting on Semantic Modelling Applications as part of the IBTech@ARBS Insight Series.
Information interoperability has become the latest buzzword in building services and property management sectors. Before this, new entrants into this market were talking about semantic modelling and tagging of data. It is easy to become confused with this new language and the host of technologies that accompanies it.
The goal of such technologies is to streamline the processes of working with massive data sets from the modern world of IoT. By standardising methods of modelling systems and defining services that can be consumed by other systems it makes the job of unlocking value from such systems much easier and provides normalised access to data being generated from devices that are encroaching more and more on our daily lives.
About IBTech@ARBS
IBTech@ARBS will explore the future of connected buildings, enabled by intelligent and sustainable design. It is a dedicated precinct within ARBS, Australia’s only international air conditioning, refrigeration and building services trade exhibition, where visitors can explore cutting-edge intelligent building technologies and solutions.
