Conserve It’s Richard McElhinney to present at Niagara Summit 2018

Richard McElhinney, Conserve It’s Chief Software Architect will be a part of the Developer Showcase being held on Sunday afternoon at the Niagara Summit 2018.

Richard’s presentation will focus on the further development of the Niagara Framework and how it is now possible to take Niagara even further to the “edge” and deliver application specific controllers by leveraging all facets of Niagara. Richard will show how that with the right combination of skills, design and thought it is possible to take Niagara 4 to the world of advanced machine control.


Richard has more than 18 years experience in commercial building automation product development. Having started his career in Australia Richard worked for a number of years in the UK and has delivered products across Australia, Europe and North America. Being formally trained in LonWorks and DALI product development and as a Niagara System Integrator and Developer, Richard is the Chief Software Architect at Conserve It.


Also volunteering on the Board of Directors at Project Haystack Richard is passionately working on the seamless integration of control and monitoring applications with the latest in data analytics software for the purposes of unlocking value for contractors and building owners working towards higher efficiency in the built environment.


The Niagara Summit is all about knowledge-sharing and ideas – with forums, presentations and breakout sessions relevant to businesses and their customers, now and in the future.


The theme of the 2018 Summit is ‘Shaping the Future of the Internet of Things’.
